I was looking outside the window

One Tuesday night of July

While the rain keeps pouring

Many thoughts keep coming back in my mind.

The silence of the night

Contributes to my longing

Longing for the answer

I am always searching.

Am I just hiding the fact?

That loneliness is creeping on me

Like the darkness of the night which

Hides the imperfections of this world.

Is the loneliness brought about by the weather 

Or the weather only aggravates the feelings?

Whatever the reason is

I am still here feeling empty.
